Mama sleeping

Mama Daisy likes to sleep on the cement floor. It's much cooler here especially when the temperature is too hot inside the house.

It's a Bird!

I caught a 'pipit' bird today. But when I brought it home, my foster parent said the three big words: NO,NO,NO.
Soon the tiny bird was lifted up in the air and taken away from my sight.
Why can't I play with it?

Meet My Small Giant Friend

He's totally harmless.  Likes to roll back when touched. There are lots of them at our eco-farm. Today I had fun with one giant millipede, which moved slowly despite its million feet .

Cat's Wanna Hav Fun

Today I ran and jumped and finally got a grasshopper.
I did not kill it. Just wanna play with it.
I brought it in the house to show my foster parents my new playmate.
" OK " said them, "But don't eat or kill it".
So, I rolled happily over the floor, pretending to catch it , then pushed it. But not to eat it. It was just FUN.

Call Me Cat Woman

I am learning to be a Big Girl now. Guess you guys can call me ' CAT Woman'.
P.S. Words are circulating around the house that my face is more rounded now. Have put in lots of flesh. And soon will be as big as Mama :)

Nice Fragrance

Tired after this morning run Mama Daisy call it quits for the morning and thereafter laid her head close to the cut flowers arrangement to enjoy the fragrance of the common gardenia blooms...while starting to take her morning nap.

Mama Daisy's Morning Run( and Walk)

It's customary for us at the Laman kambatik Eco-farm to do our early morning run.  Well this morning around 6.30 am we followed our foster parent taking the first morning breeze and the sniffing the early morning plumeria blooms. Half-way Mama decided to show off her catwalk, instead of running. ( Cats too are temperamental and proud and don't care a cent about the world)

To catch a bee

This morning a bee entered our house.
How do I catch it? Here my jungle training  and instincts come in handy. First have a proper stance.  Put you left paw for support. Then lean forward a bit while holding your balance. Your eyes on the target.
On the count of three, pull out your right paw with the swiftness of an arrow and the clench of an eagle....   oops gotchu!

The Lizard

This lizard was lucky to be on the other side of the glass louvre. Inul, you can do it? Yes, but no! The sight of the lizard makes my heart hit the ceiling and my paws trembling..damn lizard.

Beautiful tree

Hi, It's INUL talking. Today I followed my master ( foster father!) wandering in the jungle behind our chalet. Look at the beautiful yellow flowers of this jungle tree. Cats do like beauty, too..meow..meow..

Inul is nine months old

It's me to narrate the story now.  This is my pix taken yesterday (25 oct) being 9 months old. I was born here in Bintulu on 25 th January'08.
Wonder why I am near the water tank?
Well, it's quite a height and safer here.  Am looking towards the jungle to see the water ravaging through the bushes and overflowering the tiny stream.  You see, the monsoon months have arrived . It's been raining for the last few days. Am happy to note that the water tank is full.

Water, water every where.....
