Einstein's climbing prowress

Einstein tries to reach the very end of the slender branch to show his climbing prowress.  When I screamed from below, he answered back " If I don't blow my horn, who will?"
Unfortunately for Einstein, he got stuck on the tree. " Sis, please bring over the ladder. I don't know how to get out of this tangle. It's real jungle up here." I dashed into the house to inform our foster parents. Within minutes a ladder was brought over and our foster parents brought Einstein safely down the tree.   When I quizzed him later, he admitted " It's not easy to be a hero, Macy. But I'll try again". Then I reminded Einstein, " That's a trumpet tree*. You're not to blow your horn up there. Remember that! Try another tree." Einstein looked at me adoringly and with a flash of his handsome moustache said " OK, sis, I adore you. Thanks for being my mentor".
Note: * trumpet tree = tabebuiea rosea

Macy Grey's afternoon nap corner

This is my afternoon nap favourite corner. My size is just made for the space between the mosquito netting and the glass louvres. Oh, how I love hiding by this window.

Inul drinks tons of water

It has not been raining for the last three days in Bintulu.  Today the weather was exceptionally hot and humid.  Poor Inul has to cool down her body temperature by drinking more water.

Put your Paws on my shoulder

People, People, Dont't be overly worried about me. I know my way back. Anyway, thanks for the home coming reception. I know I was out the whole night and day but Hey! I'm back : )

What are Einstein and Inul up to?

Einstein discovers PHILOSOHY. It's a leaf. Why did God create the leaf? And tells Man that He
keeps track of every single leaf that falls. Yes, even this tiny leaf falling on water. Is there a formula to this? A code to depict every single movement of leaves on this planet? It puzzles Einstein.
Inul singing, All I want for My Hari Raya is my two front teeth. Yes, my 2 front teeth.

The Queen

The sign says it all.  Mama Daisy finds a nice spot on top of the speakers as her favorite joint. Called " Daisy Palace" it is out of bounds for the rest of us. Here she daydreams, cat nap and sleep the night long. "OK, guys put on your ear plugs,we gonna surprise her with some techno vibes !" says Einstein.

Too tired to wait

"It's about midight now and big sister Macy Grey has not returned home" says Inul. " I am worried. Very worried indeed. Didn't you hear the stray cat Mama had to fight off this evening. Since then Macy has not been back" cried Inul. " Could she be frightened and ran away somewhere?",asks Inul.
" Don't worry little sister" confided Einstein. " She's different from us. She likes to wander around the farm at night. She'd be OK."
"Meantime put you head on my shoulders. Let's sleep it off,OK".( Minutes later they were seen having more than a cat's nap. They slept ....waiting for Macy to come home)

Catch of the Day

Einstein tackles his price catch of the day - the common cheshnut munia bird. Munias are abundant at our farm because they feed on grass seeds that grow wild by the small stream that transverses our farm.

He's totally engrossed. With his mouth full he growls and snarls when approached, very possessive of his catch. He lkes to play ' throw and catch' game on the poor munia.

These are pictures taken today to celebrate my coming of age. I am today 11 months old . My tail never seem to stop growing. I wonder? I am soft to touch, very tame when fondled. Makes very little noise. a perfect home cat. Yours truly...Macy Grey.
